Released in 2009, Crows Zero 2 picks up immediately after the first film. Genji Takiya (Shun Oguri), the son of a Yakuza boss, has failed to conquer Suzuran. The sequel ups the ante by introducing the deadly alliance between Suzuran and their rivals, Hosen Academy, led by the psychotic Rikiya Kimura (Shunsuke Daito).
