Croket! (also spelled Croquette or Croket) is a shōnen anime adaptation of the manga by Manavu Kashimoto, centered on Kuro'ō Croket (often just Croket), a young Demon World treasure hunter who aims to collect the legendary 20 Demon King’s treasures to revive his legendary father. The series blends action, adventure, humor, and tournament-style battles across a fantasy world with RPG-like rules, tropes, and item-based powers.

While the show initially presents itself as a gag manga adaptation, it pivots heavily into emotional storytelling.

Manavu Kashimoto’s original manga ran from 2001 to 2006, winning the prestigious for children's manga in 2003. The manga features a slightly edgier tone and more detailed artwork compared to the anime, though both retain the same core heart and humor. In recent years, a sequel series titled Croket! Black Label was launched, featuring an older, resurrected version of Croket in a darker, more mature world. The Video Game Boom
